From Mardan, Pakistan — building for the world

I started FontPreview in 2022 out of pure frustration. I was tired of downloading fonts, installing them, testing them in design tools with our font contrast ratio tool, and realizing they looked nothing like I expected. The process was slow, clunky, and broke my creative flow.

So I built a simple tool: a text box and a list of fonts. Type something, click a font, see it change. That was the first version — a basic Google Font previewer. It was ugly, but it worked — and other designers started using it for web font testing.

Today, FontPreview has grown into a complete typography ecosystem with 10+ tools: Preview Studio (Google Font previewer), Comparison Lab (compare Google Fonts side by side), License Checker, FontMagic Generator, AI Font Psychology Tool, Wordmark Studio, Typography QA Lab, Variable Font Axes Preview, Best Google Font Combinations, and more — all free, all client-side, and all built with one goal: make font testing and typography mastery instant, intuitive, and accessible to everyone using our online typography workspace.
