We do not collect personally identifiable information. The text you enter in our Google Font previewer and comparison tools is processed locally in your browser and is never stored on our servers. However, the following third-party services may collect anonymized data:

• Hugging Face API: Brand description text for analysis (not stored)

3. AI Brand Analyzer (AI Font Psychology Tool) #

Our AI Font Psychology Tool uses Hugging Face AI to provide sentiment analysis and brand archetype matching for how to choose fonts for branding.

What happens with your data:

• Your brand description is sent securely to Hugging Face's API
• Processing is temporary and used only to generate your results
• We do not store your brand descriptions or analysis results
• Hugging Face's Privacy Policy applies to API calls

We explicitly do NOT:

• Use your brand text for training AI models
• Store your brand descriptions on our servers
• Share your brand data with third parties

4. Google Analytics (Web Font Tester) #

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with FontPreview. This helps us improve our web font tester tools and content. Google Analytics collects:

• Pages you visit and time spent
• Your approximate geographic region (country/city)
• Browser type, device model, and operating system
• Referral source (how you found us)

FontPreview's Comparison Lab may request access to fonts installed on your device for compare Google Fonts side by side functionality. This feature uses the modern Local Font Access API available in compatible browsers.

What we do with this permission:

• Read the names only of fonts installed on your computer
• Display these font names in a dropdown menu for comparison
• Render preview text using your local fonts

We explicitly do NOT:

• Upload, copy, or store font files
• Transmit font names to our servers
• Access font data outside of your browser's local rendering

FontPreview integrates with:

• Google Fonts API: Loads web fonts dynamically for our Google Font previewer
• Google Analytics: Tracks anonymous usage for our web font tester and typography QA laboratory
• Hugging Face API: AI brand analysis for our AI font psychology tool
• html2canvas: Creates screenshot previews (client-side only)
• Firebase: Authentication and database services (for user accounts - optional)

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

We implement reasonable security measures, including HTTPS encryption and secure API practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security for our high-performance web fonts for SEO tools.

FontPreview is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children using our best Google Font combinations tool. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us immediately.
