How do I preview fonts with my own text?

Simply type your text in the input field at the top of the Preview page. All font previews will update in real-time with your custom text.

Can I compare system fonts with Google Fonts?

Yes! Visit the Comparison Lab and grant permission to access your system fonts. You can then compare any system font with any Google Font side-by-side.

How does the AI Brand Analyzer work?

The Brand Analyzer uses Hugging Face AI to perform sentiment analysis on your brand description. It identifies your brand's psychological archetype and suggests fonts that match your emotional voice. Your text is processed temporarily and never stored.

Is FontPreview really free?

Absolutely! FontPreview is and will always be free for individual designers. No hidden costs, no premium tiers, no account required.

Do you store the text I type?

No. Everything you type stays in your browser. We never store, transmit, or have access to your text content. For the Brand Analyzer, text is processed temporarily by the AI and not stored. Your privacy is our priority.

How do I download fonts from Google Fonts?

In the Preview page, click the download icon on any Google Font card. You'll get a ZIP file containing all available font weights.

Troubleshooting

Fonts aren't loading properly

Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache and reload. Some fonts may take a moment to load on slow connections.

System font permission not working

Make sure you're using a compatible browser (Chrome, Edge, Opera). Go to browser settings → Privacy → Site Settings → Font Access, and remove FontPreview to reset the permission.

AI Brand Analyzer not responding

The AI service may be temporarily unavailable. Try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, check our Hugging Face status page.

Download button not working

Some browsers may block multiple downloads. Try downloading one font at a time, or check your browser's download permissions.
